Check for slack at the floor harness that is routed to the seat while it is pivoted rearward. If there is no slack, adjust the seat back angle so that the
harness is not being strained during the work process.

Prepare the work area by covering the carpeted surfaces under the seat with absorbent mats and have some clean shop rags within reach to wipe
away any excess lubricant.
