Idle Speed: Adjustments
Adjustment conditions:

Engine coolant temperature is 80 to 95°C (176 to 203°F).

Engine lubricant temperature is over 80°C (176°F).

Lights, electric cooling fan and all accessories are off.

Transaxle is in neutral ["P" or N" range].

Steering wheel is in straight ahead position.
1. Loosen the accelerator cable.
2. Connect the tachometer.
3. Ground ignition timing adjusting connector terminal. Stan the engine and let it idle. Check ignition timing and adjust if necessary.
Standard ignition timing: BTDC 5° ± 2°
4. Turn off the ignition switch and ground terminal 10 of data link connector. Alternatively, connect a scan tool to the data link connector.
