Combination Switch: Service and Repair
Disassembly and Assembly

DISASSEMBLY

1. Remove the four clock spring mounting screws.
2. Disconnect connectors.
3. Remove the clock spring from multifunction switch.
4. Remove the tour mounting screws.
5. Remove the wiper/washer switch (RH side).
6. Remove the tour mounting screws.
7. Remove the lighting switch (LH side).

ASSEMBLY

1. Install the lighting switch and wiper/washer switch.
2. Check that the front wheels are placing straight ahead.
3. Turn the clock spring counter clockwise by hand until it becomes harder to turn the cable.
4. Turn the clock spring clockwise about 2 1/4 turns to align the yellow marks.
5. When installing the steering wheel make sure that the match marks will not be misaligned.
