Fuel Injector: Service and Repair

COMPONENTS

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the intake air surge tank.
2. Release residual pressure from the fuel line to prevent fuel from spilling.

CAUTION: Cover the hose connection with rags to prevent fuel from leaking out due to residual pressure in the fuel line.

3. Remove the delivery pipe with the fuel injectors.

CAUTION:
(1)

Do not drop any injectors when removing the delivery pipe.
(2)

Be aware that fuel may flow out when removing the injector.
