Verify that the vehicle is affected by identifying the production date range and VIN.

Apply this procedure to both the right and left sides.
1.
Raise and support the vehicle on a hoist.
2.
Remove the rear wheels.
3.
Remove the brake drum retaining screw.
4.
Remove the brake drum.
5.
Remove the brake shoes from the backing plate.
6.
Disconnect and cap the brake hydraulic line.
7.
Remove four bolts holding the hub and bearing assembly.
8.
Remove the hub and bearing assembly.
