2.

Replace the B2/S1 02 sensor with the improved part (39210-3716A). Use a 22 mm 02 sensor socket.

3.

Torque the new 02 sensor to 33 lb-ft.

4.

Reinstall the condenser fan assembly and reconnect the electrical connector.

2001 SANTA FE V6 -- 02 SENSOR REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE:

BANK 2 (RADIATOR SIDE) FRONT 02 SENSOR:

1.

Disconnect the B2/S1 02 sensor connector.

2.

Replace the B2/S1 02 sensor with the improved part (39210-3716A). Use a 22 mm 02 sensor socket.

3.

Torque the new 02 sensor to 33 lb-ft.

BANK 1 (DASH PANEL SIDE) FRONT 02 SENSOR:

1.

Disconnect the B1/S1 02 connector from the top of the vehicle.

2.

Lift the vehicle.

3.

Replace the B1/S1 02 sensor with the improved part (39210-3712A). Use a 22 mm crows-foot type of 02 sensor socket.
