Open the hood and support it securely. Disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.

Disconnect the MAF sensor connector by first prying off the metal locking clip and then unclipping the MAF sensor connector wiring from the air
intake resonator.

Cut off the plastic clip on the intake resonator with a pair of diagonal cutters. This is to ensure the harness is not placed back into the clip at a later
date.

Loosen the intake hose clamp tightening screw on the clamp closest to the MAF on the throttle body side. (see photo) Unclip the four (4) air
cleaner cover clamps and remove the air cleaner cover and MAF sensor as a unit.
