Be careful not to disconnect any cables connected to the vehicle or Hi-Scan Pro during reprogramming.
WARNING
If reprogramming is interrupted, the manual update procedure must be used.

Do not start the engine during reprogramming.
4.
Do not turn the ignition key off during reprogramming.
5.
Clear all diagnostic codes related to the upstream 02 sensors on bank 1 and bank 2 before conducting ECM reprogramming. Then, cycle the
ignition key ON and OFF three times (each time, waiting 10 seconds before turning the key back on) before proceeding with the reprogramming.
AUTOMATIC UPDATE PROCEDURE:
1.
Attach the DLC (Data Link Connector) cable to the Hi-Scan Pro main body and tighten the 2 bolts securely.
2.
Remove any software cards from the Hi-Scan Pro and insert the new reprogramming card into the Hi-Scan Pros top slot. DLC Cable Hi-Scan Pro

3.
Plug the DLC cable from the Hi-Scan Pro into the data link connector (16-pin connector) at the drivers side lower crash pad.
4.
Turn the ignition to the ON position.
5.
Turn the Hi-Scan Pro ON and press ENTER. ENTER.
6.
Select option 32. EF 2.5, 2.7 Ti02S HEATING IMPROVEMENT and press ENTER.
