Mark the hole location 3" (75 mm) from the edge of the mounting clip, 1-1/4" (30 mm) from the edge of the flange. Using a 9/32" (7 mm) drill bit,
drill the hole into the seat frame.

NOTE

Vacuum the loose metal chips.

Reconnect the connector, use wire ties to secure the air bag wire harness on both sides of the connector. Install wire tie (1) to the right of the
connector if there was an existing oval hole, or wire tie (2) if a hole was drilled in step 10. Install wire tie (2) to the left of the connector. Trim the
ends of the wire ties.

Secure the SAB harness and the PPD grid harness to the bottom of the seat spring with a wire tie (3).

Connect the PPD interface wire to the PPD interface. Insert a wire tie (1) into the oval hole about 2 inches back from the end of the connector.
Secure the PPD interface wire and trim the extra wire tie length.
