Choose the ECM type which is correct for your vehicle by referring to the chart shown.
NOTE:

The menu options "01" and "02" apply to the vehicles produced through April 30, 2000.

The menu option "03" applies to the vehicles produced from May 2, 2000 through July 4, 2000.

Enter the correct password after identifying the vehicle production date, VIN and system. Then press ENTER."
WARNING:
Be sure to input the correct password. If an incorrect password is selected, the correct ECM software will not be downloaded.

Hi-Scan will reprogram the ECM automatically. Wait until the reprogramming is completed.
NOTE:
Hi-Scan displays the new ECM ID on the screen.
