Select the correct password for the manual update mode which is correct for the vehicle specification by referring to the chart shown. Then press
ENTER.
WARNING:
Be sure to input the correct password. If an incorrect password is selected, the correct program will not be down loaded.
7.
The Hi-Scan Pro will establish communication.
NOTE:
Once the password is entered and accepted, the rest of the process is exactly the same as the automatic update procedure.
8.
The Hi-Scan Pro will reprogram the TCM or ECM/TCM.
WARNING:
Do not interrupt the reprogramming at any time. The TCM/ECM may be rendered inoperative if the program does not download completely.
