SERVICE PROCEDURE:

NOTE

Always record the customers preset radio stations prior to disconnecting the battery negative cable and reset the radio stations and clock after
service.

Always disconnect the battery before working near the satellite sensor to prevent unintended air bag deployment.

^

Verify that the vehicle is affected by identifying the vehicle production date and VIN.

^

The replacement procedure must be performed for both left and right satellite sensors.

1.

Adjust the seats forward and tilt the seat backs up.

NOTE

This will make the access to the satellite sensor easier, especially on power seats.

2.

Open the hood and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.

3.

Carefully lift up the left front door scuff trim, unsnapping it from the body.
