Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Service and Repair
Rear

REMOVAL

1. Remove the wheel and tire.

2. Remove the shock absorber lower mounting bolts.

3. Remove the upper arm and rear carrier mounting bolt.

4. Remove the shock absorber mounting bracket.

INSTALLATION 

1. When installing the rear shock absorber, be sure to clean the mating surfaces.
2. Tighten the components to the specified torque as follows.
