To avoid damage to adjacent parts, use care when removing and installing the door trim and regulator.

Use caution to prevent damage to the regulator motor mounting bolt when removing the motor from the door regulator.
^
Do not deform the door channel when removing the upper holder rivet.
^
Use caution to minimize damage to the door channel when grinding the channel rivet.
^
Be sure to use anti-corrosion primer to completely cover the channel surface after grinding the rivet.
1.
Open the front door.
2.
Lower the door glass on both front doors to about one-third (1/3) as shown.
3.
Remove the front door trim mounting screws.
4.
Remove the quadrant inner cover.
5.
Remove the front door inside handle housing.
6.
Remove the door trim panel from the door.
7.
Disconnect the power window main switch and door lamp connectors and then remove the door trim panel.
