Temperature Sensor (Gauge): Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Drain the coolant down to sensor level or below.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable and disconnect the engine harness connector from the sensor.
3. Remove the sensor.
INSTALLATION
1. Apply suitable sealant to the threaded portion and tighten to 15-20 Nm (150-200 kg.cm, 11-14 ft. lbs.)
2. Connect the harness connector to the coolant temperature sensor.
3. Connect the battery to ground cable.
4. Refill the system with clean coolant.
