Tiburon L4-1.8L (1997)
2. Install transfer drive chain onto transfer gears.
NOTE: Align timing marks to bronze colored, or punch marked links on chain as shown in the illustration.
3. Lubricate the journal of camshaft with suitable assembly lube, then install the camshafts with timing chain.
4. Install the bearing caps; check the marks on bearing caps for proper location as shown in the illustration.
5. Using two or three steps, tighten the bearing caps to 12-14 Nm (120-140 kg.cm, 9-10 ft. lbs.)
6. Using the camshaft oil seal installer tool No. 09221-21000 or equivalent, press in the camshaft oil seal.
