NOTE:

The valve guide is installed using a press fit.

Intake and exhaust valve guides differ in length.
EXHAUST
42.7 mm (1.68 inch).
INTAKE
39.1 mm (1.54 inch).
REMOVAL
Using the valve guide remover/installer tool No. 09221-22000, or equivalent, push rod, push the valve guide out toward the cylinder block with a
press as shown in the illustration.
