Valve Spring: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the cylinder head and camshaft.
2. Using the special tool, valve spring compressor tool No. 09222-28000 and valve spring compressor holder tool No. 09222-29000, or equivalent,
remove the retainer locks.
3. Next remove the spring retainer, valve spring and valve.
NOTE: Keep these parts in order so they can be reinstalled in their original positions.
2. Remove the valve stem seals with pliers, and discard.
