TIBURON A/C SWITCH STICKING
DESCRIPTION:
Some Tiburon A/C switch buttons may not stay engaged afier being depressed under certain temperature conditions (extreme hot or cold). The switch
may bind slightly against the cluster facia panel and may need to be shimmed to provide adequate clearance. Simple replacement of the switch may result
in a repeat repair as the new switch could bind as well.
SERVICE PROCEDURE:
1.
Verify that the A/C switch does not stay engaged when depressed.
2.
Record the customer's radio stations and disconnect the negative battery cable.
3.
Remove the shift lever upper cover.
