Brake Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch: Description and Operation

MASTER CYLINDER PRESSURE SENSOR

DESCRIPTION

The pressure sensor (A) is connected to the master cylinder, when ESC is on operation, detecting the brake pressure in order to sense the user's will to
brake a vehicle.

The pressure sensor (A) is consisted of two ceramic disks, one is fixed and the other movable, so that changes the distance of the two disks.
(Maximum measurable pressure is 200 bar.)
