5. Remove the caliper mounting bolts (A), and hang the caliper assembly (B) to one side. To prevent damage to the caliper assembly or brake hose,
use a short piece of wire to hang the caliper from the undercarriage.
6. Remove the rear axle assembly (A).
a. Remove the trailing arm mounting bolt (B).
b. Remove the suspension arm mounting nuts (C).
c. Remove the strut mounting nuts (D).
INSPECTION
1. Check the hub bearing for wear or damage.
2. Check the carrier for cracks.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the rear axle assembly (A).
a. Install the strut mounting nuts (D).
Tightening torque 140 - 160 Nm (1400 - 1600 kgf-cm, 103.3 - 118 ft. lbs.)
b. Install the suspension arm mounting nuts (C).
Tightening torque 140 - 160 Nm (1400 - 1600 kgf-cm, 103.3 - 118 ft. lbs.)
