1. Remove the ignition key to lock the steering wheel (A) in position.

2. Remove the universal joint shaft dust cover (B).

3. Unfasten the universal joint mounting bolt (C) and separate the universal joint assembly from the steering gear.

4. Raise the vehicle and remove both front wheels.

5. Remove the LH inner splash shield (D).
