DESCRIPTION:
Some 2005-2008 TUCSON (JM) and 2007-2008 SANTA FE (CM) vehicles equipped with 4WD systems may exhibit a humming noise originating from
the 4WD coupling while driving between 10~40 MPH. To diagnose and repair this condition, first inspect the 4WD coupling assembly for noise and
physical damage. If necessary, replace the 4WD coupling assembly. Without first inspecting the 4WD coupling assembly, do NOT replace the rear
differential assembly. This bulletin provides the service procedure for replacing the 4WD coupling assembly.
