2. FD Elantra Touring "T" versus "K" code prefix. The HMA DCS website under "Key Codes" File for the 2010 Elantra Touring may show an
incorrect key code. For this model year, replace "T with "K and proceed with normal cutting procedures.

3. TG Azera's are equipped with an Immobilizer passive security system. This system uses a Smartra module but does not employ a Smart key. The
Azera has a coded key working as an Immobilizer. The Immobilizer system prevents the vehicle's fuel injection system from operating and starting the
vehicle unless the correct pre-programmed Immobilizer key is used. The system also incorporates a programmable 4-digit password to enable a Limp
Home mode in the event of an Immobilizer system malfunction.

This Limp Home mode will allow the owner to start the vehicle by entering their pre-selected 4-digit password using a series of ignition key cycles (i.e.,
On-Off).

This mode also provides an alternate means for the owner to drive the vehicle to their authorized Hyundai dealer for system servicing. This feature is
described in the Azera Owner's Manual in Section 1, "Features of Your Hyundai".

For programming information, refer to TSB 06-90-009, 2006 "AZERA IMMOBILIZER - LIMP HOME PASSWORD FEATURE AND
PROGRAMMING".

NOTE:

This feature is disabled from the factory and there is no default code. The customer-selected 4-digit 'Limp Home password must be programmed into the
Power Control Module (PCM) during the vehicle sale process using a Hi-Scan Pro diagnostic tool.

NOTE:

The 4-digit 'Limp Home password is different than the 6-digit PIN code used for the Immobilizer key 'Teaching function. The 4-digit password is not
permanently associated with the VIN and may be accessed and changed at any time using a Hi-Scan Pro diagnostic tool. (Refer to the previously issued
TSB 06-90-009, AZERA IMMOBILIZER - LIMP HOME PASSWORD FEATURE AND PROGRAMMING).

4. EN Veracruz models built after September 2009 have a revised BCM logic designed to prevent accidental tailgate opening. When replacing the BCM
on EN's built after this date, use the GDS and confirm that this feature is turned on (enabled).

5. EN Veracruz models equipped with a PIC key. When performing Smart Key Reprogramming (TSB 09-BE-008) you may obtain the 6 digit PIN code
from the Hyundai Dealer website or through TechLine.

There may be two (2) codes listed on this website for any one particular VIN. If one 6 digit PIN code does not work, try the other.

6. TG Azera Laser cut keys permits a maximum of 4 keys. New TG's come with 2 keys plus a valet key. However, when you order a key, you will get a
set of 2 Immobilizer Keys + 1 Valet Key. One of the old keys serves as a "master" for programming. If all keys are lost, PCM must be neutralized.

7. TG Azera Key Fob programming: The GDS only allows 2 keyless entry remotes to be programmed. The shop manual states that 4 can be
programmed. The HI SCAN allows 4 remotes to be programmed as the shop manual states.

8. BK Genesis Coupe. BH Genesis sedan. and VI Equus models with Proximity Keys cannot be neutralized. Also, these models cannot support more
than two (2) Proximity keys.

9. Key Cutting and Key Code Procedure - YF Sonata Look up the key code in the HMA DCS website under "Key Codes". The code will be listed as
HK****. Disregard the "H" and submit the code as K**** to the PDC.
