Remote Control: Service and Repair
Removal
1. Remove the driver airbag module.
2. Remove the steering wheel.
3. Remove the steering wheel cover (A) after loosening the screws.
4. Disconnect the audio remote control switch connector (A).
5. Remove the audio remote control switch (A).
NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the hook when removing the switch.
Installation
1. Install the audio remote control switch on the steering wheel.
2. Install the steering wheel.
3. Reconnect the audio remote control switch connector and airbag connectors.
NOTE:
Make sure that the switch connector is plugged in properly.
4. Install the driver airbag module.
NOTE:
Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should be turned on for about six seconds and then go off.
Make sure horn button works.
