Replacement

Front Seat Belt Replacement

CAUTION:

-

When installing the belt, make sure not to damage the pretensioner.

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
2. Remove the following items first.

A. Front seat assembly.
B. Door scuff trim.

3. After raise the lower anchor cover (A), loosen the lower anchor (B) mounting bolt.

4. Remove the center pillar lower trim.
5. Remove the center pillar upper trim.
6. After loosening the mounting bolt, remove the upper anchor (A).

7. After disconnecting the pretensioner connector lock pin, remove the pretensioner connector, loosen the mounting bolt, then remove the

pretensioner.

8. Installation is the reverse of removal.

CAUTION:
-

When installing the upper trim, be careful to combine trim and height adjuster well, all the lowest adjusting position.

Secondary Seat Belt Replacement

1. Remove the following items first.

A. Rear seat assembly.
B. Rear door scuff trim.

2. After raise the lower anchor cover (A), loosen the lower anchor (B) mounting bolt.
