When you push button "1" or "2", (while the ignition key is in the "on" position) the driving position and outside rearview mirrors will be automatically
adjusted to the position recorded for that button.
THE "AUTO" FUNCTION:
To activate the "auto" function, press the "auto" button on the door panel. A green light next to the button shows that it is activated.
IMPORTANT:
The "auto" function will not move the driver's seat unless the "foot type" parking brake (located beneath the left side of the lower instrument panel
surface) is engaged before the ignition key is removed.
THE IMS WILL DO THE FOLLOWING WHEN THE "AUTO" FUNCTION IS ON:
1.
The driver's seat moves rearward when the ignition key is removed from the ignition switch (unless the seat is already at the rear position).
2.
The driver's seat will return to its original position when the ignition key is inserted into the ignition switch.
3.
While the vehicle is shifted to reverse, the outside mirrors will automatically move downward to change the area visible with the outside mirrors.
The mirrors will return to the original position when the transmission is shifted out of reverse.
NOTE:
Mirror movement is based on the remote control mirror switch position (see table shown).
