Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the master cylinder.
CAUTION: Do not allow brake fluid to remain on a painted surface. Wash it off immediately.
2. Remove the vacuum hose.
3. Remove the operating rod from the brake pedal.
4. Loosen the booster mounting nuts to remove the booster assembly.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the master cylinder.
2. Attach the booster and master cylinder to the dash panel.
3. Reinstall the vacuum hose securely to prevent vacuum leaks.
4. Connect the operating rod with the brake pedal.
5. Bleed the system.
NOTE: Do not attempt to disassemble the brake booster. It's not serviceable.
