These noises can be difficult to isolate since they cannot be reached from the interior of the vehicle. The best method is to secure, move or insulate one
component at a time and test drive the vehicle. Also, engine RPM or load can be changed to isolate the noise. Repairs can usually be made by moving,
adjusting, securing, or insulating the component causing the noise.

All Door

DOOR DOES NOT LOCK/UNLOCK WITH DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH

ALL DOOR : Description

All doors do not lock/unlock using door lock and unlock switch.

DOOR DOES NOT LOCK/UNLOCK WITH DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH

ALL DOOR : Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Check power supply and ground circuit. 
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 2.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
2.CHECK DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH
Check door lock and unlock switch.

Driver side: Refer to See: Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Door Lock and Unlock Switch/Driver Side/Component Function Check.

Passenger side: Refer to See: Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Door Lock and Unlock Switch/Passenger Side/Component Function
Check.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 3.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
3.CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR
Check door lock actuator (driver side). Refer to See: Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Door Lock Actuator/Driver Side/Component
Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 4.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
4.CONFIRM THE OPERATION
Confirm the operation again.
Is the result normal?
YES - Check intermittent incident. Refer to See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Intermittent Incident.
NO - GO TO 1.

Driver Side

DOOR DOES NOT LOCK/UNLOCK WITH DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH

DRIVER SIDE : Description

Driver side door does not lock/unlock using door lock and unlock switch.

DRIVER SIDE : Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR
Check door lock actuator (driver side). Refer to See: Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Door Lock Actuator/Driver Side/Component
Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 2.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
2.CONFIRM THE OPERATION
Confirm the operation again.
Is the result normal?
YES - Check intermittent incident. Refer to See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Intermittent Incident.
NO - GO TO 1.
