Air Mix Door Motor

DOOR MOTOR

AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR : Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

Driver Side (With left and right ventilation temperature separately system)
1. Set the temperature (driver side) at 18°C (64°F).

CAUTION:
The angle may be out, when installing the air mix door motor to the air mix door, unless above procedure is performed.
2. Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
3. Remove instrument lower panel LH. Refer to See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Exploded View.

4. Remove automatic drive positioner control unit. Refer to See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Memory Positioning Systems/Memory

Positioning Module/Service and Repair/Automatic Drive Positioner Control Unit/Exploded View.

5. Remove mounting screws (A), and then remove air mix door motor (driver side) (1).
6. Disconnect air mix door motor connector.

Passenger Side
1. Set the temperature (passenger side) at 18°C (64°F).

CAUTION:
The angle may be out, when installing the air mix door motor to the air mix door, unless above procedure is performed.
2. Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
3. Remove blower unit. Refer to See: Blower Motor/Service and Repair/Blower Motor/Exploded View.

4. Remove mounting screws (A), and then remove air mix door motor (passenger side) (1).
5. Disconnect air mix door motor connector.

INSTALLATION
Installation is basically the reverse order of removal.
