IF YOU CONFIRM:

The driver power seat does not move in any direction at times, or not at all.

NOTE:

This incident, should it occur, applies to Automatic Drive Positioner (ADP) equipped vehicles only.

ACTIONS:

Verify the condition of the lumbar switch harness.

^ If the harness is found damaged:

Repair the lumbar switch harness.

>

Do not replace the lumbar switch unless the switch harness is not repairable.

>

Install the Passive Guide Rail Set (protector) and Felt Tape listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section of this bulletin.

>

For repair procedure, refer to the SERVICE PROCEDURE section of this bulletin.

^ If the harness is not found damaged, this bulletin does not apply.

>

Refer to the appropriate Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for further diagnosis.
