Rear Subframe: Testing and Inspection

REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER

Inspection

INSPECTION AFTER REMOVAL
Check rear suspension member for deformation, cracks, or any other damage. Replace if necessary.

INSPECTION AFTER INSTALLATION
1. Check shock absorber actuator harness connector for proper connection (with Continuous Damping Control).
2. Adjust parking brake operation (stroke). Refer to See: Brakes and Traction Control/Parking Brake System/Testing and Inspection/Parking Brake

System.

3. Check wheel alignment. Refer to See: Maintenance/Alignment/Service and Repair/Inspection.
4. Adjust neutral position of steering angle sensor. Refer to See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing

and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Additional Service When Replacing Control Unit/Description See: Brakes and Traction
