APPLIED VEHICLES:
2003-2004 FX45 - AWD
2003-2004 FX35 - 2WD and AWD

IF YOU CONFIRM:

During braking an Applied Vehicle has a loud "squeak" "squeal" or "groan" noise coming from the rear brakes:

when the brakes are cold (first couple of brake applications)

^

for example when backing out of a driveway in the morning

ACTIONS:

Replace the rear brake pads with the ones from the PARTS INFORMATION section of this bulletin.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Verify the incident by a test drive. Drive the vehicle as described in the IF YOU CONFIRM section in this bulletin.

2.

Replace the rear brake pads with the ones from the PARTS INFORMATION section of this bulletin.
