INTRODUCTION

Nissan has determined that on some model Year 2003-2006 Infiniti FX35145 vehicles the rear combination lamps fail to comply with certain
requirements set forth in Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108.

The standard specifies among other things the performance requirements for rear stop tail and turn signal lamps for passenger vehicles. One of these
requirements specifies their minimum light intensity at certain test points. The rear combination lamps in vehicles subject to this TSB may not meet these
requirements. This means that the stop tail and turn signal lamp function may be too dim when viewed at certain angles. Reduced visibility increases the
risk of the vehicle being involved in a crash. To correct this condition Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Recall Campaign to replace the existing rear
combination lamps with new and compliant lamps free of charge.

IDENTIFICATION NUMBER

Nissan has assigned identification number R0607 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature
dealing with this campaign.

NUMBER OF VEHICLES POTENTIALLY AFFECTED

The number of vehicles potentially affected is approximately 105,200.

DEALER RESPONSIBILITY

It is the retailers responsibility to check Infiniti Net for the campaign status on each vehicle falling within the range of this voluntary safety recall which
for any reason enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles
in a dealer's inventory.
