If applicable remove four nuts and remove the tunnel brace (see Figure 18).

Apply an index (line up) mark across the propeller shaft and differential pinion flange for correct re-assembly (see Figure 19a).

Remove four nuts and bolts and carefully re-position the propeller shaft down and to one side. Use a piece of wire to support the propeller shaft to
avoid excessive tension on the propeller shaft center bearing (see Figure 19b).
Disconnect Parking Brake Cables
