Remove the nuts that hold the center muffler mount brackets to the vehicle body (see Figure 16).

Remove the exhaust system center tube front nuts (see Figure 17).

22.

Carefully remove the exhaust center tube/rear muffler and place it in a safe location.

NOTE:

Continue with step 23 for the G35 Coupe and G35 Sedan Reposition Propeller Shaft procedure.
