Remove securing bolts and nuts from the Steering Member then remove the Steering Column Assembly from the Steering Member (see Figure 1).

Remove the Hole Cover Seal and Clamp (see Figure 1).

16.

Remove the mounting nuts, then remove the Hole Cover from the Panel (see Figure 1).

17.

Raise the vehicle, then remove the Lower Joint Mounting Bolts (see Figure 1).

18.

Remove the Lower Joint and the Lower Shaft from the vehicle (see Figure 1).

19.

Remove the Lower Steering Column Assembly from the vehicle (see Figure 1).

20.

Remove the Cross Bracket from the Steering Column Assembly (pry off the bracket with a flat blade screwdriver). See Figure 2.
