Replace each nut/bolt (one at a time) that holds the Rear Propeller Shaft to the Transmission Output Companion Flange (see Figure 3).

2.

Tighten each new nut/bolt to: 73.5 N-m (7.5 kg-m, 54 ft-lb).

Procedure C (AWD Model ONLY)

IMPORTANT:

Replace the bolts one at a time. Do NOT remove more than one bolt at a time.

Remove two plastic clips/four screws and remove the Lower Engine Cover (see Figure 4).

2.

Replace each bolt (one at a time) that holds the Front Propeller Shaft to the Front Differentia Companion Flange (see Figure 5).
