REMOVAL
1. Remove the rear propeller shaft. Refer to See: Drive/Propeller Shafts, Bearings and Joints/Drive/Propeller Shaft/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Rear Propeller Shaft 3F-R-2Vl107/Exploded View.

2. Remove self-lock nut of companion flange with a flange wrench (commercial service tool).

3. Put a matching mark (A) on the end of the main shaft. The mark should be in line with the mark (B) on the companion flange.
