Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

1.

Remove transaxle, refer to TRANSMISSIONS CLUTCHES DIFFERENTIALS AXLES AND DRIVESHAFTS/MANUAL
TRANSAXLE/COMPONENT R&R PROCEDURE/TRANSAXLE.

2.

Remove flywheel or drive plate.

3.

Remove rear oil seal. Be careful not to scratch rear oil seal retainer.

4.

Apply engine oil to new seal and drive into place.
