Compressor Clutch: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT 

-

When removing center bolt, hold c;utch disc with clutch disc wrench.

-

Using clutch disc puller, clutch disc can be removed.

-

Bend down pawi of lock washer.

-

When removing pulley, remove lock nut with nut wrench.

BREAK-IN OPERATION 

When replacing compressor clutch assembly, do not forget break-in operation, accomplished by engaging and disengaging the clutch about thirty
times.
Break-in operation raises the level of transmitted torque.
