Accel-drum Adjusting Screw

Whenever the throttle chamber and rod are installed, adjust accel-drum unit as follows:
a. Install accel-drum unit and throttle chamber.
b. Apply grease all over inside of rod couplings.
c. Insert each one coupling to ball links of throttle chamber and accel-drum unit, Fig. 22.
d. Loosen locknut and adjusting screw.
e. Manually turn accel-drum until throttle valve is fully open, then check stopper lever in not touching adjusting screw.
