INSTALLATION

1.

Connect spiral cable electrical connector, then install steering column cover.

2.

Remove stopper by pulling two pin guides. Alignment of spiral cable with neutral position. If stopper is not used, align spiral cable with neutral
position as follows:
a. Turn spiral cable clockwise until it catches stopper.
b. Back off spiral cable approximately two turns until yellow alignment mark appears on left gear, Fig. 10.
c. Align arrow mark cable with this yellow mark. 

3.

Install steering wheel setting spiral cable pin guides, then pull spiral cable through.

4.

Connect horn electrical connector, then engage spiral cable with pawls in steering wheel and tighten nuts.

5.

Position airbag module and tighten with special bolts.

6.

Connect airbag module electrical connector, then install all lids.

7.

Conduct self-diagnosis to ensure SRS operates properly.
