SERVICE INFORMATION:

Some G20 owners may complain of a whine or whistle noise when driving at 30-40 mph. The noise may be caused by vibration produced by the
automatic transmission. A replacement automatic transmission control cable assembly and new style mounting bracket may reduce the amount of
vibration noise transmitted to the passenger compartment.

SERVICE PROCEDURE:

1.

Remove old automatic transmission control cable, mounting bracket at transmission end and locking plate. Discard these parts. 

2.

Install a new automatic transmission control cable with a new mounting bracket and nuts.
