INSTALLATION

1.

Install new oil seal into transaxle using installation tool Nos. KV38106800 for RH side and KV38106700 for LH side. Fig. 3.

2.

Hold tool in place and insert driveshaft. Ensure serrations are properly aligned and remove tool.

Push driveshaft, then press fit circular clip on driveshaft into circular clip groove of side gear.

4.

After its insertion, try to pull flange out of slide joint by hand. If it pulls out, circular clip is not properly meshed with side gear.

5.

Insert outer side of driveshaft into steering knuckle. Connect steering knuckle nut and tie rod end.

6.

Install driveshaft wheel nut.
