SERVICE INFORMATION

If an Applied 2003 G35 Sedan has the following symptom:

a clicking noise heard in the front driver's and/or front passenger seat belt buckle bracket, use the Service Procedure in this bulletin to resolve the
incident, if it should occur.

Service Procedure Overview:

So you know which replacement parts to install: Determine if Front Seats Are Manual/Power/Or Combination.

^

Remove Front Driver's Seat Belt Buckle.

^

Install Replacement Front Driver's And Passenger Seat Belt Buckle Kit Washers, to resolve the incident.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Determine if Front Seats (Driver and Passenger) Are Manual/Power/Or Combination. Remove Front Driver's Seat Belt Buckle:

1.

Move the front driver's seat all the way forward.

2.

Remove two rear driver's front seat track mounting bolts.

3.

Move the seat all the way back.

4.

Remove the two forward driver's front seat track mounting bolts.

5.

Remove the driver's front seat belt buckle.

6.

Remove the existing seat belt buckle washers. These washers will not be re-used.

7.

Based on the type of driver's seat installed (manual or power), go to the appropriate Seat Belt Buckle Kit Installation Procedure and complete the
repair:

For vehicles with Power Front Driver's Seats, go to Power Front Driver's Seat Belt Buckle Kit Washer Installation.

For vehicles with Manual Front Driver's Seats, go to Manual Front Driver's and Passenger Power or Manual Seat Belt Buckle Kit Washer
Installation.
