IF YOU CONFIRM
The automatic transmission (A/T) of an Applied 2003 G35 Sedan has the following symptom; harsh or erratic shift after the A/T is warmed up.
ACTIONS
Use the Service Procedure shown, to determine if the Transmission Control Module (TCM) needs to be replaced.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1.
Road test the vehicle to confirm the incident exists.
2.
Use CONSULT-II to check for any stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
A.
If only DTC P1710 and P1716 are stored, go to step 3.
B.
If DTC P1710 and P1716 are not stored and no other DTCs are stored, this bulletin does not apply. Refer to the Electronic Service Manual
(ESM) for further diagnosis.
C.
If DTC(s) other than P1710 and P1716 are stored, this bulletin does not apply. Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for further
diagnosis.
