Gently remove the two-piece plastic fasteners holding the ribbon cable to the case.

The ribbon cable is held into the connector with a locking bar.

The locking bar is a hand-press-fit into the connector but is loosely retained when released by the two clips.

Gently pry up on each end of the locking bar to release the ribbon cable.

CAUTION:

Do Not lift the locking bar more than 1 mm.

A new contact part of the switch will come with the new motor assy. The button part of the switch is to be reused. Remove the button part from the
switch part as shown.
