Then push the cushion frame back to align the rear studs and install the rear nuts (see Figure 23).

Finish reassembling the seat in reverse order of disassembly.

Refer to seat exploded view previously shown as needed.

Use the tip (Shown below titled "Tip for Installing the Seat Cushion Trim") to ease installation of the seat cushion trim.

30.

Install new tape on the side of the power seat switch.

New tape is listed in the Parts Information.

31.

Re-install the seat into the vehicle.

Refer to section SE in the ESM as needed.

Tighten the seat mounting bolts to: 43.1 - 54.9 Nm (4.4 - 5.5 kg-m 32-40 lb-ft.).

Connect the battery cables (positive cable first).

33.

Reset the clock and radio station pre-sets.

34.

Test drive the vehicle to confirm the seat does not feel loose and it doesn't make any noise.

Tip for Installing the Seat Cushion Trim

Make sure the cushion pad and trim are centered on the cushion frame.

^

Align the trim plastic lip with the metal flange as shown (see Figure 25).
