1. Look under the front passenger seat; locate and unclip the Belt Tension Sensor (BTS) harness connector from the bracket.

2. Disconnect and reconnect the BTS connector 3 times.

NOTE:

This step is used to clean the connector contacts and ensure good continuity through the connector.
